Blue Lagoon is close to Padangbai Harbor. Known as an underwater paradise, the water is warm and marine life is abundant. You might see an ultraviolet fish with a glowing spark, followed by schools of black fish with tails shaped like the heads of wrenches; you might even see a fish that looks like a leopard skin; and if you look closely, you'll see a creature cleverly disguised and hiding in the crevices of the coral reefs. The shoreline is bordered by coral gardens, where you can snorkel among psychedelic fish. Padangbai is the main port for ferries to Lombok and also for smaller boats to Nusa Penida. There are good snorkeling spots in the bay, although the snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon or White Sand Beach is much better.
